Jennifer J. Hawkins

Jennifer J. Hawkins is President of Hawkins Law PC. She leads the firm's estate, trust, and guardianship administration and adoption law practices. Trustees, executors, and guardians engage Jennifer to represent them in their administrations of trusts, estates, and guardianships. Her practice style enables her to work closely with her clients and encourage them through emotionally challenging circumstances. Jennifer also practices estate planning and elder law.
Jennifer graduated with honors in 1988 with the degree of Bachelor of Music Education from the Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana. Jennifer was honored on the Dean’s List and served on the Journal of Law and Education at the University of Louisville’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, were she graduated in 1992 with a Juris Doctor. She was admitted to the Indiana Bar and United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana in 1992.
The National Institute for Trial Advocacy conferred a diploma upon Jennifer for her completion of the Indiana Trial Advocacy Skills Workshop in 1993. She served as a Greene County Deputy Prosecutor in 1993, 1994, and 1998.
Jennifer is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Probate, Trust, and Real Property Section. She is past President of the Greene County Bar Association and presently serves the Sullivan County Bar Association as its Treasurer.
The Indiana State Bar Association’s Trust & Estate Specialty Board certified Jennifer as a Board Certified Indiana Trust & Estate Lawyer in 2010.
