Firm History
HAWKINS LAW PC is a law practice of husband and wife Jeff R. Hawkins and Jennifer J. Hawkins. The couple began practicing law in Jasonville, Indiana, as associates in law firm of ROWE & GREGG in 1992.
ROWE & GREGG added Jeff and Jennifer as partners in 1993 and renamed itself: ROWE, GREGG, HAWKINS & HAWKINS. Simultaneously, Jennifer began a two-year appointment as a Greene County Deputy Prosecutor.
The firm reorganized as ROWE & HAWKINS in 1994 when one of the former partners left private practice. Four years later, ROWE & HAWKINS reorganized again as ROWE & HAWKINS, LLC.
The Hawkins family acquired the Sevier dental office building in Sullivan, Indiana, in 2000, formed the new law firm of HAWKINS & HAWKINS LLC, and opened a new practice in January 2001. The attorneys and their clients enjoy the easy accessibility of the firm’s Sullivan location on old U.S. 41 North, across the street from Sullivan High School.
The Hawkins reorganized their practice in 2002 and 2003 to meet the growing needs of their probate and business clientele. The firm changed its name in the fall of 2003 to HAWKINS LAW PC as part of its streamlined practice development. Heavy investment in law practice technology has enabled the husband and wife team to serve clients more dependably over a wide practice region.
Limiting the firm’s practice subjects has enabled the firm to concentrate its energy and deliver more value to its clients. Jeff Hawkins was certified in 2007 as what is now called a Board Certified Indiana Trust & Estate Lawyer by the Trust & Estate Specialty Board. Jennifer Hawkins received the honor of that certification in 2010. HAWKINS LAW PC's practice concentration includes elder law and business planning law, which relate closely to Jeff and Jennifer's Trust & Estate law practice specialty.
HAWKINS LAW PC has become a firm of estate, trust, elder law & business attorneys. Clients in more than 17 counties have come to depend on Jeff and Jennifer Hawkins for their knowledge and experience regarding estate, trust and guardianship administration, estate planning, elder law, and a wide array of business matters.
